Event Details and FAQs: - Address - 40 Barnard Rd, Bowthorpe Employment Area, Norwich NR5 9JB (It’s the right building once you go past the gate)

- Tournament details - 4-5 rounds of pre-sealed
- Format - Pre-Sealed
- Prizing - 1 pack on entry and an additional 1.5 packs into the prize pool per-person
- Parking - Free parking available for all attendees.
- Food and Drink - Vending machines available, external food and drinks allowed.
- Website Discounts - Victory points and discount codes will work with events. Tickets are non-refundable within 24 hours of the event. Contact [email protected] and we may be able to move your ticket to a future event.
- What is a pre-sealed format? - It's a format that consists of a 40 card deck that's built from 5 pre-made "boosters". Before you attend the event, you must prepare 5 "boosters" at home, and bring them with you. These are then collected from all players, shuffled up, and redistrubuted back out to players. At the end of the distribution, all players will have 5 random "boosters", containing 8 cards each, making a 40 card deck. NO TRADES ALLOWED!
Pack Creation -
Cards must be legal in the Expanded tournament format (Yes, you're not limited to Standard for this!)
No Pokémon can have Rule Box (No ex's, Ace Spec's, GX, V, Radiants etc)
2 Energy Cards (At least 1 must be a Basic Energy).
3 Pokémon Cards of the corresponding type, e.g., Water Energy, so 3 Water Pokémon (at least 1 of these MUST be a basic Pokémon).
3 Trainer Cards (Ideally 1 Supporter, and 2 Items, or 1 Supporter, 1 Item, and 1 Tool/Stadium)
All 8 cards, are then to be placed in a penny sleeve, with the Basic Energy card at the front, and being the only visible card.
Pokémon Cards of the Colorless type are not allowed!
Play time! You will be given 15 minutes, once everyone has their "boosters" to review your 40 cards, and sleeve them up. We will then play a Best of 3, either 4 or 5 rounds, depending on how many players come to play, with 4 prize cards! Let's see who has what it takes to be crowned the winner of Pre-Sealed Format at Zatu Games!
